Aneka Elok Reservoir Pump House is in Normal Condition

Aneka Elok Reservoir Pump House, Penggilingan, Cakung, East Jakarta is confirmed to be in normal condition. This pump house is used to control water flow in reservoir, which is located near Jakarta Government Employee Complex.

Cakung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio mentioned, there are two pumps in this pump house with capacity 1,000 liters per second each. There are also 12 portable pumps and generator set which are in very good condition.

"We have checked it yesterday, Aneka Elok Reservoir Pump House is in very good condition. Hopefully everything there can run optimally during rainy season and when water discharge increases," he said, Monday (9/20).

Apart from pump house, he continued, condition of floodgate at Aneka Elok Reservoir outlet is also functioning normally. The floodgate will be opened when water discharge in reservoir is high. Water from reservoir will be directed to Cakung River, through Aneka Elok connecting (phb) channel.

"Aneka Elok Reservoir has also been dredged in 2019. We hope it can optimize its capacity so there will be no flood in the area," he conveyed.
